We here at BassReaper Bait Co are a family owned company. We were born from Competitive Fishing, and we know and understand the drive and passion that angler’s possess to come out on top.
It’s this drive that excels us to produce some of the best baits in the industry. We have taken center stage in tournament fishing, and now we help others take that same stage. We put what we know forward to help you be successful on the water.
Not only do we find working in the fishing industry fulfilling, it helps us teach our kids the ethics and standards of hard work and in return they themselves help guide us on what’s important for them and their future.
Our youngest son, at the age of 7, said he wanted to be able to help sea turtles and other sea life. This is why we searched and found out about Sea Shepherd and all the work they do to help clean our worlds oceans. We have decided to contribute a portion of all sales to Sea Shepherd.

1st Contact was created to be an Aristocrat in the Terminal Tackle evolution, mainly Tungsten Weights. Tungsten is more dense and compact giving you much greater sensitivity allowing you to make Contact with the bottom, and feeling what the bottom composition might be.
